PORTOBELLO ROAD & BANKSY

As I said yesterday on Facebook, I love movies. So, whenever I'm in London I cannot avoid going through movie locations, as nice as Notting Hill (in the neighborhood of Notting Hill).

Como ya os dije ayer por Facebook, me encanta el cine. Por eso, siempre que voy a Londres no puedo evitar pasar por localizaciones de películas, tan bonitas como Notting Hill (en el barrio de Notting Hill claro). 

No doubt this is one of the most famous bookstores. It's where they see for the first time, Anna Scott and William Tacker - or what is the same, Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. And another very important location, and the same film, is the famous blue door. Some have told me on Instagram isn't the true blue door, I can say that I don't know exactly, but after reading on the Internet, supposedly that is the famous door.

Sin duda esta es una de las librerías más famosas del celuloide. Es donde se ven, por primera vez, Anna Scott y William Tacker - o lo que es lo mismo, Julia Robert y Hugh Grant. Y otra localización muy importante, y de la misma película, es la famosa puerta azul. Algunos me han dicho por Instagram que no es la verdadera puerta azul, puedo decir que no lo se con exactitud, pero después de todo lo que he leído por Internet, supuestamente ésa es la famosa puerta. 

But Notting Hill is not just a movie, which also, also has one of the most beautiful and famous markets in London. This market is located in Portobello Road, and you will find gas masks from World War II, to tea sets, even food.There is everything!

Pero Notting Hill no es solo un escenario de película, que también, además tiene uno de los mercados más bonitos y famosos de Londres. Este mercado se encuentra en Portobello Road, y allí encontrarás desde máscaras de gas de la II Guerra Mundial, pasando por juegos de té, hasta comida. ¡Hay de todo! De todo y a todos los precios, regatear es muy importante. 

In Portobello is a large cultural offer. In the same street you can find a group of guys playing music as another painting graffiti. But if we talk about graffiti, it's impossible not to mention the great Banksy. There, near the end of Portobello Road, there's a Banksy graffiti, behind glass. You can imagine how important it's. Finding it was exciting, never seen a original Banksy so closely, and the feeling couldn't be better.

En Portobello hay una oferta cultural muy grande. En una misma calle puedes encontrarte a un grupo de chicos tocando música, como a otro haciendo un graffiti. Pero si de graffitis hablamos, es imposible no mencionar al gran Banksy. Allí, casi al final de Portobello Road, hay un graffiti de Banksy, tras un cristal. Ya os podéis imaginar lo importante que es. Descubrirlo fue muy emocionante, nunca había visto un Banksy original de cerca, y la sensación no pudo ser mejor.

Very close to the famous Banksy, we discovered street art shop. There we fell in love madly in many works, I felt sorry that I did not bring any...

Muy cerca del famoso Banksy, descubrimos una tienda de arte callejero. Allí nos enamoramos perdidamente de muchas obras, me dio mucha pena no haberme traído alguna... pero es que los 23kg de maleta ya empezaban a quedarse pequeños, jajaja.
