DESTINATION: LONDON TOWN

Un año más, Londres será mi destino. He conocido países, ciudades, pueblos... todos muy distintos entre sí, pero ninguno me ha gustado tanto como la tierra de Sherlock Holmes, de Queen y del 'afternoon tea'. Ni tan siquiera París, ni Florencia, ni Venecia, ni Estambul. Todos los lugares en los que he estado tienen cosas muy distintas, muy particulares, que las hacen especiales. Sin embargo, a día de hoy, y desde que la pisé por primera vez en 2005, ninguna ciudad me ha cautivado en cuerpo y alma tanto como lo ha hecho Londres. 

Pero este año será distinto. Como si fuera 31 de diciembre a las 00.01h, me he retado a cumplir muchos propósitos de este nuevo viaje. Quiero disfrutar de la ciudad, de su gente, de sus lugares (conocidos por muchos, y desconocidos por tantos otros) como si no hubiera un mañana.

Again, London will be my destiny. I've known countries, cities, towns... all very different from each other, but none captivated me as much as the land of Sherlock Holmes, Queen and the 'afternoon tea'. Not even Paris, or Florence, or Venice, or Istanbul. All these places we've been are very different things, very particular, that make them special. However, such a day like today, no city has captivated me in body and soul as well as London.

But this year will be different. As if December 31 at 00.01h, I challenged to fulfill many purposes of this new journey. I want to enjoy the city, people, places (known by many, and ignored by so many others) like there's no tomorrow.

Sin embargo, esta lista no excluye a las tradiciones que ya tenemos: almorzar en Golden Sq, visitar a Peter Pan, cenar a los pies del Támesis o bajar del avión e ir de compras. Siempre que viajamos a Londres, la ropa que llevamos para todos esos días es - básicamente - la que llevamos puesta. 

No, no os asustéis, no nos pasamos todos los días con la misma camiseta y el mismo pantalón, jajajaja. Es solo que, una de nuestras tradiciones es, no más bajar del avión y subirnos en el coche, dejar todo en el hotel y, corriendo pillar la guagua 23 o 94 para bajarnos en Oxford St. ¿Una vez allí? ¡Comprar mucha ropa! ¿Después? ¡Estrenarla por la ciudad!

However, this list doesn't exclude the traditions that we've: lunch at Golden Sq, visit Peter Pan, dinner while we look at the Thames... or get off the plane and go shopping. Whenever we travel to London, the clothes we wear to all these days is - basically - that we wear.

No, don't be scared, we didn't spend everyday with the same shirt and the same pants, hahaha. It's just one of our traditions: off the plane and get on in the car, leave everything in the hotel and ran to catch the bus 23 or 94 to get off at Oxford St. What do we do when we are there? Buy lots of clothes! What's Next? Wear for the first time in the city!

Sí, esa es una de nuestras tradiciones, y es que a Londres vamos por muchas cosas, pero uno de los puntos claves es por su gran diversidad en cuestiones de moda. Allí siempre encontramos alguna prenda o algún complemento distinto que hace de nuestros outfits unos looks únicos. Y hablando de moda, yo ya he me he hecho una pequeña guía de prendas básicas que quiero comprar. Son algo así como el fondo de armario que quiero tener para la próxima temporada. Espero encontrarlo todo cuando aterrice allá, y si no es así... ¡Seguro que la ciudad me ofrece algo mejor!

Yes, that's one of our traditions. We go to London for many things, but one of the keys is the great diversity in matters of fashion. There, we always find some article or some other complement that make unique our outfits. And speaking about fashion, I've already made ​​a small guide to basic items that I want to buy. They are something like the wardrobe that I want to have for next season. I hope to find everything when I land there, and if not... I'm sure the city will offer me something better!
