Comenzamos la semana con algo nuevo: fuera looks, marcas y outfits. Nos quedamos con la moda, con la moda de los años 50 y 60 en América. ¡Qué época! Ojalá vivirla. Me da muchísimo.

We started the week with something new: no looks, brands or outfits. yes with fashion, with fashion from the 50s and 60s in America.What an age! I wish to live it. I love it.

Mary Ann's Cake'n'Burger. Esta hamburguesería nos ha encantado (a B y a mí), no solo estaba riquísimo todo lo que pedimos sino que, además, nos han atendido súper bien. El ambiente... ¡excelente! Música americana de los 50 sonando sin parar, y una decoración que te teletransporta al The Frosty Palace. En un momento me dieron ganas de  recrear la mítica escena sucedida en Hawthorne Grill (momento friki, lo siento, os quiero). 

Mary Ann's Cake'n'Burger. We love this burger restaurant (B and me), not only was scrumptious everything we ordered but also that, we have attended really well. The ambience... Excellent! 50's music  ringing nonstop, and a decor that teleports you to The Frosty Palace. At one point I wanted to recreate the legendary scene filmed in Hawthorne Grill (freak moment, sorry, I love you).

Para cenar pedimos: ensalada césar, el sandwich BLT (bacon, lechuga y tomate) y limonada rosa. Estaba todo riquísimo, sobre todo nos sorprendió la limonada. Tenía un sabor muy peculiar, recordaba un poco a Dr. Pepper. Es curioso, no me gusta en absoluto ese refresco, sin embargo esta limonada me encantó. 

For dinner we ordered: caesar salad, the sandwich BLT (bacon, lettuce and tomato) and pink lemonade. It was all delicious, especially the lemonade. He had a very quirky flavor that reminded us to drink Dr. Pepper. By the way, I don't like at all that soda, however, I loved this lemonade.

El local en sí está ubicado en la Calle Imeldo Serís, 11 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife). Debo aclarar que no se trata de una franquicia, aunque sí podéis encontrar restaurantes de temática similar alrededor de España y de todo el mundo. En España uno de los más populares es Peggy Sue's, famoso no solo por sus productos, sino también por todas las campañas publicitarias de moda que allí se han realizado. Os dejo algunos ejemplos aquí y aquí. 

Y poco más que decir, si sois de Tenerife (o tenéis pensado venir) y queréis pasar un buen momento comiendo bien y a muy bueno precios (6€/persona aprox.), Mary Ann's es tu sitio, sin lugar a dudas. Y con esta última foto me despido, os deseo una semana genial. ¡Sed felices!

The restaurant is located on Calle Imeldo Serís, 11 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife). I should clarify that it is not a franchise, although you can find thematically similar restaurants around Spain and worldwide. In Spain one of the most popular is Peggy Sue's, famous not only for its products, but also for all fashion advertising campaigns that have been conducted there.
